Dan Christensen was named President of Coldwell Residential Brokerage of Utah in December of 2007. In this role, he oversees the state's largest real estate company with 17 offices and more than 1,000 associates serving customers across the Wasatch Front. The company offers residential brokerage, corporate relocation and mortgage services.

With more than 20 years experience in real estate, Christensen most recently served as the company's CFO, a post he held for 12 years. In this capacity, he played a key role in solidifying the company's position as Utah's top real estate brokerage. As a major player in the creation of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Utah, he facilitated the merger of three companies into one and has helped the organization grow through recruiting support and the acquisition of key local real estate firms. In addition to his residential background, Christensen has expertise in full-service commercial real estate, property management and property development.

Before joining the real estate industry, he worked for the Utah Association of CPAs, leading the Controller's Sub-Committee for Continuing Education. His focus on continuing education is part of his forward-thinking approach to business development. As president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Utah, Christensen promotes greater professionalism, enhanced customer service skills and improved negotiation abilities through increased training, better use of established systems and a focus on accountability.

In his local community, Christensen has been a youth leader for more than 20 years. During this time, he has led and worked closely with the Boy Scouts of America in many capacities. He has performed numerous hours of community service and helped several youth earn Eagle Scout awards.

Christensen and his wife, Karen, reside in Kaysville, Utah. They are the parents of two children.
