Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Acquires Three Offices In Avon, Farmington And Simsbury
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Strengthens Hartford-Area Sales Network
DANBURY, Conn. - October 17, 2008
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., has acquired the assets of three offices in Avon, Farmington and Simsbury, Conn., previously owned and operated by William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty. The approximately 46 sales associates from these offices will now operate under the banner of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. All other William Pitt offices will continue to operate under the William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty name.

This acquisition results from a strategic business decision by William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty to sharpen its focus in its core market areas along the Connecticut shoreline and in Fairfield County and New Haven.

The acquired offices in Avon and Simsbury will be combined with existing Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales offices in Avon, located at 300 West Main St., and Simsbury, located at 700 Hopmeadow St., respectively. The Farmington office will combine with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's West Hartford office, located at 36 LaSalle Rd.
