Chris Lim is the founder and CEO of Climb Real Estate, a leading San Francisco-based real estate firm. Climb offers a comprehensive array of brokerage and marketing services for residential buyers, sellers and developers. Under Chris’s leadership, Climb has become the fastest-growing boutique brokerage representing some of the finest properties in the city.Inspired by his father’s custom home construction company and his mother’s independent real estate practice, Chris draws from these early influences to create a highly nimble and creative agency committed to superior service and innovation. Chris began his real estate career in 2002, quickly becoming recognized as one of the top producing agents in the SOMA and South Beach areas, a distinction he maintained until stepping back from full-time sales in March of 2010 to create a new real estate brokerage. Prior to that, Chris worked in finance at both Merrill Lynch and Fuji Securities. At Grey Advertising, he built brand and digital marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies. His clients routinely cite Chris’s unique ability to work well with all parties involved–buyer, seller, landlord, developer–and to identify with their individual needs. At Climb, he has brought together a closely integrated team of knowledgeable, experienced, and reputable brokers and agents who share his vision and dedication. Recognized by the Asian Real Estate Association, the Chinese Real Estate Association, Inman News, and the San Francisco Chronicle, Chris Lim’s combination of real estate prowess, marketing instinct, and design aesthetic brings a fresh point of view to the industry. Chris has established himself as a singularly original voice in the world of residential real estate. Chris is a native of Northern New Jersey and graduated with honors from the University of Richmond. An avid world traveler, his passport is stamped from Africa to Australia and Europe to Asia as he searches for design inspiration and the perfect lobster roll. His future travel plans include completing the tennis Grand Slam by visiting each tournament site in the same year: Melbourne, Paris, London, and New York. When not circling the globe, Chris divides his time between San Francisco and north Lake Tahoe.
