Dan Barnett joined NRT as senior vice president of marketing in January of 2008. In this role, he is responsible for enhancing and expanding national marketing initiatives in order to strengthen the company's position in its 35 markets through vendor relationships, online marketing, advertising initiatives and niche marketing programs.
Prior to joining NRT, Barnett enjoyed a distinguished career at HSBC Finance where he developed robust online marketing programs for the company's consumer and mortgage lending division. During this time he oversaw strategic partnerships, lead sourcing and analytics, and online customer service. His accomplishments include developing the eCommerce channel into a dominant source of new mortgage customers, all while optimizing the advertising budget for the greatest efficiency and value.
In addition, Barnett led the company’s consolidated REO operations, including a national network of Realtors, attorneys, property preservation and settlement vendors.
He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and his M.B.A. in marketing and strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
