Joseph A. Valvano is President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y. He is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and business development of more than 2,300 affiliated sales associates and employees in 47 sales offices throughout Connecticut and Westchester.
Prior to becoming President, Valvano was the Managing Broker of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices in Greenwich and Old Greenwich, Conn., overseeing more than 200 affiliated sales associates. Under his skillful management, the Greenwich office frequently ranked as one of the top-performing offices in the NRT network nationwide and was the No. 1 office for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County for many consecutive years.
During more than 30 years in the real estate industry, Valvano has served in various roles, including Associate Real Estate Broker, Managing Broker and Broker-Owner, winning numerous NRT President’s Council management awards. He owned and operated a boutique real estate firm in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., joining Coldwell Banker®/NRT when it acquired his firm in 1999, becoming Managing Broker of the Dobbs Ferry office.
Valvano is a licensed associate real estate broker in Connecticut and New York. He is the past President of the board of directors of the Westchester-Putnam Multiple Listing Service and a former member of the board of directors of the Greenwich Association of Realtors®. He is also a member of the Connecticut Association of Realtors®, Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors® and New York Association of Realtors®.
Valvano earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing management from Fordham University. He resides in Dobbs Ferry with his wife, Therese.
