Lauren De Simon Johnson
Lauren A. De Simon Johnson joined NRT in early 2005 as senior vice president of human resources for the largest residential real estate brokerage company in the United States. De Simon Johnson is an integral member of the senior leadership team and has been responsible for driving the company's overall human capital strategy and ensuring its alignment with the company's strategic business objectives. In recent years, she has expanded her responsibilities and assumed the role of senior vice president, organizational effectiveness. In this role, she works collaboratively across the enterprise to deliver solutions and lead initiatives resulting in improvements with high impact and value to the business. De Simon Johnson oversees several other functions in addition to human resources including independent contractor relations, sales agent and sales leadership education, and various programs that provide revenue opportunities for NRT’s field sales organization.
A long time human resources executive with Cendant Corporation, NRT's former parent company, De Simon Johnson previously served as executive vice president of human resources for Cendant Timeshare Resort Group, Inc. based in Orlando, Fla. In this role, she was responsible for all human resources activities and strategic initiatives for a $1.6 billion vacation ownership and resort development company with more than 13,000 employees.
Prior to her time with Cendant Timeshare Resort Group, Inc., De Simon Johnson held senior HR leadership roles with Cendant's corporate headquarters, as well as with its car rental group, Avis/Budget, and FISI Madison Financial, Inc. subsidiaries. Prior to her career with Cendant, she also held human resources management positions at Corporate Express, Inc.; Meldisco, A Footstar Company; the Superior Court of New Jersey; and the NYC law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy.
De Simon Johnson received her bachelor's degree from Douglass College of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., and her M.A. in Organizational Behavior from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. De Simon Johnson currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
